The Wacom LCD Signature Tablet STU-500 has been specially designed to capture digital signatures for paperless and secure workflows or ePayment transactions at the POS (points of sale).
With help of the STU-500 transactions and workflows where paper documents are still involved, such as account opening, signature of contracts, payment confirmations or approval processes will be much more efficient and convenient in the future. The LCD Signature Tablet is already in use for major projects in banks, in the telecom industry, in retail outlets at the POS and in other industries.
Wacom's STU-500 features a compact, reflective 5" TFT LC display. Users sign directly on the display with a cordless, battery-free pen exactly as they would on paper. The display comes with a VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels, width x height), which enables companies to post additional content (contract, payment amounts etc.) on the displays where their end customers sign.
Due to the tablet′s features and resolution, it delivers perfect-quality biometric signature data for secure dynamic signature verification applications.
