Bit Defender, normally focused on Windows software, has launched its first Mac-specific title in the form of Antivirus for Mac. The program handles real-time antivirus protection, automatically detecting and blocking known viruses. Users can also run manual virus checks targeted at specific folders, and set pre-determined scanning intervals. Files deemed harmful are moved to a quarantine section where they can be deleted.
