Because the 802.11g standard uses the 2.4 GHz radio spectrum, the 11g access point is backward-compatible with 802.11b wireless products. The 3Com OfficeConnect® Wireless 11g Access Point supports 802.11g and 802.11b notebooks, PCs, and other wireless client devices.
